Rumor has it that GEM will be buying out BDR'S 22 Cup team and move to Toyota.

That's a new one for me, but I'm getting the feeling we won't see Dodge in NASCAR for too much longer.

My guess is the folks at GEM agree with you.
They've pulled out of the Truck Series already, they barely have a Nationwide presence as it is (Ganassi, Fitz, and GEM have 1 car each on most weekends plus Morgan Shepherd and DJ Kennington) and I'm no aerodynamacist but their Nationwide CoT body just makes me feel like they're thinking "We're not gonna win so we may as well look really cool losing"

It'd probably be hard on Dodge to lose their former flagship team to Toyota, but it's part of the business.
And it's gotta be especially hard for them to see GEM going to Toyota and Bill Davis after Davis used the information from his Dodge truck program to help Toyota build their own.

GEM going to Toyota will surely upset a lot of fans but I can't blame them if they're actually making this move. All the signs point to Dodge pulling back, but besides that acquiring BDR would not only give them a fourth team in the top 35 but also a very strong truck program.
